He spends most of his time at The MAAC on the treadmill and using our Hammer Strength equipment.
Dave’s favorite thing about The MAAC is the “convenient location and wide array of up-to-date, clean equipment,” he said. As a retiree, he is happy to be a member at The MAAC where he can focus on staying active. Dave is an excellent example of our tremendous and loyal membership base who inspire us to provide the best fitness environment we can. Keep up the great work, Dave!
“My favorite thing about The MAAC is the people and all the friendships I’ve acquired over the years,” she said. “I also like the location, accessibility, equipment, and all of the upgrades.”
Her favorite pieces of equipment are the double-armed functional trainer and all of the free weights. In 2016, Jody was diagnosed with breast cancer and the recovery has been one of the biggest challenges of her life. “My fitness level helped with my recovery and allowed me to continue to exercise through my year-long treatment,” she said. “The support I received from the members of The MAAC during my cancer journey was hugely positive and greatly appreciated,” said Jody. “My husband and I continue to enjoy our membership here at The MAAC and will remain members as long as we live in the area.” Jody, and her husband Jim, are excellent examples of why we love what we do here at The MAAC. Great people from a great community who inspire everyone around them. We consider ourselves very lucky to have the McLellans as part of our valued membership base and are looking forward to years more of friendship and health!
Kris was motivated to join The MAAC and better his lifestyle because he was “sick of being tired and out of shape. The MAAC has led me to an awesome start to my days and I have more energy now than I had in my 20s and 30s.”
His favorite piece of equipment is our Legend Fitness 6-Stack Jungle Gym and he enjoys working on his arms and shoulders. Kris's current fitness goal is to stay near 200 pounds. He has already dropped 30 pounds since joining The MAAC and has successfully managed to stay near 200 pounds for some time. “I have more energy and am more productive at work and in life,” he said. “Thanks to The MAAC and staff,” Kris said. “The compliments from my friends and family make my day.”
Scott has shown so much progress, that it even inspired his wife, Anne, to join The MAAC and begin training as well. “I've already lost 20 pounds and gone from 24% body fat to 18%.”
Scott's goal is to lose another 20 pounds and to reach only 12% body fat. A goal that he feels is well within his reach with the help of his trainer, Melissa. “I love training with Melissa and I always look forward to our workouts,” Scott said. When asked what some of his favorite things about The MAAC were, Scott didn't hesitate to point out “the positive energy and enthusiasm of the employees and members.” He also loves the classic rock that is always playing over the sound system. Scott is well on his way to achieving all of his goals, and we are very proud of him!
“Tom is an awesome trainer,” she said. “He has made a huge impact in my life and my health. He has been encouraging, thoughtful, and even used some tough love. He has pushed me beyond any limits I thought I had.”
Joann began her fitness journey in hopes to be healthy, fit, and toned and, in the process, she has become a part of our close-knit family here at The MAAC. We are all so very proud of her and glad to have her as part of our valued membership base. |
